Craig Stevens is in the Hot Seat!

It's October, we're well into Autumn and enjoying our special themed coffees! This month we've put Craig Stevens in our hot seat and enjoyed finding out more behind the Director.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I actually love my staff. It’s not even an exaggeration, I love coming into work everyday and interacting with them. They keep me young and remind me why I started this crazy company.

If you weren’t working in Block what would be your dream job?

I would definitely be a DJ in Ibiza. To have a crowd under my spell with my music must be the best feeling ever

What would be your one piece of advice to someone starting their career in Block?

Don’t worry about a name, a brand, or a business plan. It’s really simple; if you genuinely care about the homes you are managing and you look after your staff like they’re your family you will do really well in this industry.

What is the biggest change you see coming in the property industry?

Technology for sure. I think we will cut our staff numbers by 50% in the next 7 years

Block for life or is there something else you fancy doing career wise? 

Block for the foreseeable, but I have plans for starting a charity, I even have the name and the plan. It will be the best charity in the world one day!!!

What would be your ideal holiday destination?

Ibiza. It just has everything anyone could want

What are you obsessed with right now in life? 

My vegan lifestyle

I have a Ph.D and also represented Great Britain in American Football
