How did you come to work within the Block Management Industry?

The firm I joined as a graduate surveyor did a little bit of everything including some block management. I ended up specialising in that.

If you weren’t working in Block what would be your dream job?

Rescuing old buildings or a bespoke furniture carpenter.

What would be your one piece of advice to someone starting their career in Block?

Listen hard and put yourself in the other person’s shoes before you respond.

What would be your ideal holiday destination?

Gleneagles.

What do you do in your spare time?

Visit national trust houses in my Morgan three-wheeler.

What are your biggest gripes about recruitment firms?

Some don’t listen to the brief.

If you were given a million pounds right now, what would be the first thing you would buy?

A beehive for my wife - she does want one, it’s not just me being random!

Tell us something that not many people know about you Between school & university?

I set up a window cleaning business.
